Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- PRO MIMAROPA successfully hosted the COMELEC-PNP-AFP-Dep EdCOMELEC-PNP-AFP-Dep_Ed_Command_ConferenceCommand Conference at about 9:00 AM of April 30, 2013 at Oriental Mindoro PPO Conference Room, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.
PCSUPT MELITO M MABILIN, Regional Director PRO 4B presided the said meeting with BGEN BOBBY B CALLEJA, Commander, 203rd BDE,21D,PA, Atty. Emmanuel E Ignacio, Regional Director, COMELEC 4B, Dir. III Ramon Fiel G. Abcede, Asst., Regional Director Department of Education, members of the Command Group, Chiefs of Regional Support Unit, Provincial and City Directors, other personnel of Philippine Army , and representatives from Air 21.
A foyer honor was accorded to the newly promoted BGEN BOBBY B CALLEJA, in front of the Regional headquarters with PSSUPT DANILO A BAUTISTA, Regional Chief Directorial Staff, PRO4B as receiving officer and was warmly welcomed by PCSUPT MELITO M MABILIN, with other members of the Command Group and all PNP personnel of the Regional Headquarters. The said conference was organized to discuss the final preparation involving the above mentioned concerned government agencies for the attainment of a more secure and fair national and local election 2013.
PSUPT HERMINIO M CALLUENG, Chief, Regional Operations Division/ Secretariat, RLECC, presented the peace and order situation of MIMAROPA including updates on Kontra Boga, COMELEC Checkpoints and Field Inspections from Jan 13- April 25, 2 013 while Provincial and City Directors of all Police Provincial Offices and City Police Office delivered their respective provincial updates on the deployment of their personnel in all polling places giving emphasis on other issues and concerns that may affect the election on May 13. Further, representatives from AIR21, a forwarder accredited by the COMELEC, explained the flow of transportation of the Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) machines from the COMELEC down to their respective election hubs in different provinces and municipalities of MIMAROPA region.
With the concerted efforts extended by the above mentioned concerned agencies in bringing out a more secure and fair national and local elections, the PNP through PCSUPT MELITO M MABILIN, more vigilant to attain the said mission.

Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- The Office of the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) under five-day__WCPD_seminarthe Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD) with PSUPT IMELDA V TOLENTINO, Chief, WCPD and the concurrent Chief, Regional Public Information Office PRO 4B conducted a five-day  WCPD seminar from April 22-26, 2013 held at PRO4B Conference Room, Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Brgy Suqui, Calapan City which was attended by forty-eight (48) policewomen projected to be downloaded to all Police Provincial Offices to be designated as Assistant Chief, WCPD PNCOs.
The opening and closing ceremo ny was highlighted with the presence of PCSUPT EDGAR L LAYON, Deputy Regional Director for Administration as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
The said seminar aims to establish a seminar in child-and-gender- sensitive investigation techniques. The Program of Instruction for the said seminar was divided into five (5) modules as follows,: Gender and Violence Against Women; Violence Against Women and Victims of Abuse, Violence and Exploitation; Laws on Women and Children; Trafficking in Person and Criminal Justice System; Interview technique.
PCSUPT EDGAR L LAYON, assisted by PSUPT PIAÑAR, Regional Chaplain, and PSUPT IMELDA V TOLENTINO awarded the gifts to the top 3 participants who excelled based on their individual and team performances followed by the distribution of Certificates of Attendance to all the participants.
