Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- At about 6:00 AM of June 12, 2013, the Police Regional Office  MIMAROPA celebrated the 115th Philippine Independence Day with theme “Kalayaan 2013: Ambagan tungo sa Malawakang Kaunlaran” with Worshipful Master Reynald A. Maliwanag, Free and Accepted Mason of Tamaraw Lodge Nr. 65 as the Guest of Honor and Speaker held in front of the Regional Headquarters Building, Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City.
Among those who welcomed the Guest of Honor and Speaker and other guest from Free and Accepted Mason of Tamaraw Lodge Nr. 65 were the top officials of PRO MIMAROPA led by PCSUPT EDGAR L LAYON, OIC, PRO 4B, PSSUPT VIRGILIO C PARROCHA, Deputy Regional Director for Operations, PSSUPT DANILO A BAUTISTA, Regional Chief Directorial Staff, Divisions Staff and Chief, RSUs.
The celebration was formally started with a Wreath Laying for the tribute to Macario A Adriatico, a Calapeño and one of the Philippine heroes who organized the Conservative Party whose aims were to preserve the Hispanic heritage of the Filipino people and to work for the Independence of the Philippines at Adriatico Elementary School, Calapan City and followed by the Flag Raising Ceremony and tribute to the flag by Bro. Jollie Ver E Lasic, Chaplain, Free and Accepted Mason of Tamaraw Lodge Nr 65 at Camp Efigenio C Navarro.
Hereafter, PCSUPT LAYON read the message of Chief, PNP PDG ALAN LM PURISIMA, to quote “Tayong mga pulis ay nakikiisa sa buong bansa sa pagbibigay pugay sa ating mga bayaning nagbuwis ng buhay para sa kalayaan. Let us pay tribute to them by way of rendering only our best in performance of our mandated duties as law enforcers and public servants. Let us offer to them our battles, our triumphs and our sacrifices. Maging ehemplo tayo ng tapat at mahusay na paglilingkod sa bayan”, unquote. |

Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- At about 6:00 AM of June 12, 2013, one hundred sixty (160) participants composed of thirty-seven (37) PNP personnel from PRO MIMAROPA, twenty (20) from Philippine Army and one hundred three (103) employees from DOLE and DSWD participated in the six (6) kilometers advocacy run in Sabang, Puerto Galera.
The said activity was organized by the Department of Labor and Employment headed by Ma. Zenaida A Angara-Campita, Regional Director, in lieu of the 2013 World Day Celebration Against Child Labour with the theme “Takbo para sa Batang Malaya”.
The said advocacy run aims to increase public awareness in promoting continuing development of advocacy and strategic partnerships at national and community level, promoting the worldwide movement against child labour. |
