Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- At about 9:00 AM of May 12, 2013, a mass with the special intention for a S.A.F.E 2013 National and Local Elections was organized by the Parish Pastoral for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) Mindoro Oriental led by Mr. RestyAlsicoand attended by the PNP personnel of PRO MIMAROPA with PSSUPT ALFREDO C VALDEZ, Chief, Regional Intelligence Division, PSUPT HERMINIO M CALLUENG, Acting Chief, Regional Operations and Plans Division, PSUPT LORENZO U HOLANDAY JR., Officer-In-Charge, Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division, and PSUPT IMELDA V TOLENTINO, Chief, Regional Public Information Office and the concurrent Chief, Regional Women and Children Protection Desk, at Calapan Cathedral, Holy Infant Academy,Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. The said mass was also attended by Governor Alfonso Umali, Governor of Mindoro Oriental, members of PPCRV volunteers, COMELEC representatives and supported by other electoral candidates of Mindoro Oriental. |

Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- PRO MIMAROPA deployed two thousand one hundred thirty (2,130) police personnel to the different parts of the region to perform election duties as part of the tightened enforcement of security under PNP’s “Oplan Last Two Weeks”. Recently, Hon. Manuel “Mar” A. Roxas, the Secretary of the Interior and Local Government, announced the launching of OPLAN “Last Two Weeks” that needs full administrative and operational PNP functions to further intensify the security coverage before, during, and after the Election Day. The implementation of maximum deployment includes the activation of the PNP Reactionary Standby Support Force (PNP-RSSF) composed of 1,148 uniformed personnel from the Police Regional Office MIMAROPA who are performing administrative duties. The deployment of the 50% uniformed personnel performing administrative duties will be specifically detailed in different Municipal and City Police Stations regionwide as supplementary personnel in the conduct PNP patrols, checkpoints and anti-criminality operations. PSSUPT MICHAEL I BAYSA, Chief, Regional Personnel and Human Resources Development Division (RPHRDD) and PSUPT HERMINIO M CALLUENG, Acting Chief, Regional Operations and Plans Division, said that the deployment of the said PNP personnel will be covered with Special Orders for their temporary detail. |
