Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- before the year end, fifty (50) new members of PRO4B Eco-Road Warriors took their Oath in front of Regional Headquarters , Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, and Oriental Mindoro at about 8:00AM of September.
Out of the fifty (50), forty (40) strong male and ten (10) female were selected for CY 2013 regular quota which exclusive from Palawan Police Provincial Office and Puerto Princesa City Police Office.
PSSUPT LORENZO BARRON DETRAN JR, Chief, Regional Human Resources Development and Doctrine Division presented the recruits to PCSUPT PEÑA who then accepted and officiated their oath of office.
PCSUPT DENNIS JURILLA PEÑA, Acting Regional Director, graced the oath taking of the new Police Officer 1.The said oath taking was witnessed by media practitioners loved ones and relatives of the recruits.
In the opening remarks of PCSUPT RONALD ROMERO ESTILLES, Deputy Regional Director for Administration, he stressed to the new recruits that this is only the beginning of their journey, a mere welcome and preparations to a gigantic and overwhelming task ahead, entering into a regimented life, duties and responsibilities, authority, respect, and most of all temptation. At the end, he emphasized the quote, “what is right must be kept right and what is wrong must be set right”.
After the oath taking, the said Police Officers were transported to the Regional Training School (RTS-4), Camp Guillermo Nakar, Lucena City, Quezon to undergo six (6) months Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC). Further, they will undergo On-the-Job Training (OJT) for another six (6) months to complete their one (1) year Public Safety Field Training Program (PSFTP).
