Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City-The signing of Memorandum of Understanding conducted between PNP Region 4B and Association of Pilipinas Shell Dealers Incorporated coincided with Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at about 8:30Am of August 18, 2014 at Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

 

PNP and Association of Pilipinas Shell Dealers, Inc. Memorandum of Understanding is approved by PDG ALAN LA MADRID PURISIMA, Chief, Philippine National Police and Mr. Eduardo Aguirre, President, APSDI.shellMOA2014

 

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) encloses that the Association of Pilipinas Shell Dealers Incorporated (APSDI) shall provide an appropriate space at the retail stations nationwide that can serve as a Police Corner/standby area for patrolling Policemen, initiate local dialogues every quarter of the year, at the end of every quarter or the date which most acceptable by both parties authorized representatives, with the second party, in close coordination with the local police relative to the security situation, share ideas on how to improve crime prevention awareness within areas of concern and provide intelligence information or to be instrumental in the Sharing of information with the APSDI whenever available. Provide a strategic space for police-community billboards where police can post announcements, posters of wanted persons, rouges galleries and distribute crime prevention leaflets to the public.

 

APSDI also provide a logbook in each Shell retail stations for the purpose of recording the visits of patrolling policemen and the different activities of the PNP which being conducted or were conducted in the area and shoulder all expenses that may incur in the implementation of this Memorandum of Understanding.

 

Likewise, the PNP utilize the standby areas provided by APSDI for the following purpose: as extensions of the Police Community Precincts (PCPs) or the Police Assistance Centers (PACs) where victims/complainants can ask the help/assistance of police personnel, as check-/choke-point and drug net operations area, as drop-off points for relief goods during calamities and assembly area for Police related activities. Utilize the police /community billboards to post the rouges galleries, posters of most wanted persons, community’s feedback/reactions, distribution of crime prevention leaflets, text-info drive. Participate in regular dialogues with APSDI together with other agencies, organizations, stakeholders, that both PNP and APSDI may invite relative to the peace and order, security situation in each Shell stations locally, to share and gather ideas or information.

 

The PNP shall provide a logbook to be brought by the police officer on duty for the day to the Shell retail stations and to record the police officers visit and different police related activities in the area. This PNP logbook must always be countersigned by responsible Shell station personnel. To notify local police stations where Shell retail stations are located to avail of the benefits of the MOU.PNP shall be responsible for all the expenses that may incur in the implementation of MOU.

 

MOU between PNP Region 4B and Association of Pilipinas Shell Dealers Incorporated were signed and approved by PCSUPT DENNIS JURILLA PEÑA, Acting Regional Director accompanied by PSSUPT PIERRE RAGUINDIN BUCSIT, Deputy Regional Director for Operation, PSUPT DANIEL ZAMORA ROZETE, Deputy Chief, Regional Police Community Relations Division, which acknowledged by Mr. Christopher Alli, District Manager, South Luzon, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation (PSPC), Mr. Gerardo Concepcion, Zone Chair, Association of Pilipinas Shell Dealers, Inc., MIMAROPA ,Mr. Rey Peña, Country Security Manager, PSPC MIMAROPA and Mr. Jerome David, Retail Territory Manager, PSPC MIMAROPA.
 
Police Regional Office PRO MIMAROPA Joined the 114thAnniversary of the Independence Day Celebration PDF Print E-mail

On June 12, 2012 at 6:00 in the morning, Police Regional Office MIMAROPA joined in the commemoration of the 114thWreath_Laying1 Independence Day with this year’s theme: “Kalayaan, Pananagutanng Bayan Para saTuwid na Daan”. The celebration started with Wreath Laying accorded to Hon Macario Gonzales Adriatico, a National Hero born in the City of Calapan at the Adriatico Memorial School, Leuterio St., San Vicente South, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. The activity was attended by PCSUPT EDGAR LAYESE LAYON, Ph.D. Deputy Regional Director for Administration, PRO MIMAROPA, together with other Commissioned Officers of PRO MIMAROPA and Oriental Mindoro PPO. Worshipful Master Roger King of Tamaraw Lodge Nr 65, the Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines paid tribute to Hon Macario G Adriatico. He started his tribute by narratingthe heroe’sfamily history and his academic accomplishments. His conquest and heroic deed in fighting for our freedom was also remembered. At the end of the tribute, WM King thanked everyone for participating in the very significant activity.

Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – On June 5, 2012, PCSUPT ARTEMIO GONZALES HICBAN, PESE, visit_of_chief_pnpRegional Director, PRO MIMAROPA together with the Command Group, Directorial Staff, C, RSU’s and PRO MIMAROPA personnel welcomed Chief, PNP PDG NICANOR A BARTOLOME as the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the Blessing and Inauguration of PRO MIMAROPA Firing Range and Closing Ceremony of Criminal Investigation Course CL 162-2012 held in front of PRO MIMAROPA Grandstand, Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

 The activity formally started by an arrival honor accorded to the CHIEF PNP followed by the Blessing of PRO MIMAROPA Firing Range officiated by Rev. Father Josef Situ, Parish Priest of Brgy. Lazareto, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

 Among the highlights of the activity were the Unveiling of Commemorative Marker of the PRO MIMAROPA Firing Range and distribution of reloading machine by PDIRGEN BAROLOME intended for Oriental Mindoro PPO, Occidental Mindoro PPO and Palawan PPO. The reloading machines were received by PSSUPT ANTHONY S ALCAÑESES, PSSUPT ALFREDO C VALDEZ, and PSSUPT REYNALDO B JAGMIS respectively.

Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- PRO MIMAROPA celebrated the 113th Police Service Anniversary on August 12, 2014 at Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, with this year’s theme “Pulisya Kaagapay ng Mamamayan Para sa Patuloy na Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran” with Governor Jose Chaves Alvarez, Governor of Palawan as the Guest of Honor and Speaker . To commemorate the founding anniversary of the Philippine Constabulary that was established on August 8, 1901 and the Integrated National Police that was founded on August 8, 1975, both forerunner organization of the Modern PNP but also to encourage, remind and renew the commitment of every police officer to the organization and to the public to deliver the Serbisyong Makatotohanan in line with CODE-P, guided with P.A.T.R.O.L. PLAN 2030 113thPoliceAnnivand the Performance Governance System, the said event started with the motorcade at about 7:00 AM from the Regional Headquarters to the City Proper of Calapan participated in by officers and personnel PRO MIMAROPA, Municipal Police Stations, City Police Stations, Police Provincial Offices, Maritime Police, Highway Patrol Group, and other Support Units.

After the motorcade, at about 2:00 PM, Rev.Fr.PSUPT REYNALDO N PIAÑAR, Regional Chaplain officiated the field mass with the participation of the members of the Command Group, PCSUPT DENNIS JURILLA PEÑA, Regional Director, who read the First Reading,followed by PSSUPT PIERRE RAGUINDIN BUCSIT, Deputy Regional Director for Operations for Responsorial Psalm, PCSUPT RONALD ROMERO ESTILLES, Deputy Regional Director for Administration who read the Second Reading and PSSUPT DANILO AGANA BAUTISTA, Regional Chief of Directorial Staff, Prayers for the Faithful.

The event was highlighted by the giving of awards and recognition to the deserving performing units and individuals who contributed imminently to the success of the Region’s mission and vision.
